In Draguignan, the past matches the future

Draguignan, capital city of the Dracenie, is located in Provence between the Verdon and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.

Draguignan is in close relationship with the Regional Natural Park of the Verdon which is a natural domain. The partnership between Draguignan, the Regional Natural Park of the Verdon and its Mixed Union embodies the cultural and historical bounds that unite them.

The city is also known as the “capital city of Artillery” because Draguignan has military schools. Within these schools, there is the Museum of Artillery. Draguignan also has the Rhone American Cemetery and Memorial which honors the landing troops of 1944, known as the operation Dragoon, during World War II.

Draguignan is a land of history, art and culture which owns:
